The Story

TJ and Jess have six ​wonderful children, three ​biological and three ​adopted through foster ​care. Together, they enjoy ​family adventures and all ​things Disney. TJ and Jess ​enjoy their weekly dates. ​Their favorite is a day of ​hiking a local summit ​followed by tacos.

They both also enjoy ​running, working out, ​reading, and watching TV ​shows together.

Our Family

His Story

TJ grew up on the Central Coast of California. His ​family attended church, but he doesn't remember ​hearing the gospel of God's saving grace until his ​senior year of high school. When he responded ​and placed his faith in Jesus, everything in his life ​began to change drastically. TJ felt a passion for ​Jesus and sharing the love of God with others. ​Through experiences at Christian music festivals ​and small group Bible studies, God fanned the ​flame of his passion over the next few years. TJ ​decided to attend Bible College where he felt God ​calling him to full-time ministry. Now he is devoted ​to spreading the wonderful news of Jesus to as ​many as possible.

Her Story

Jess grew up in the High Desert of California and ​was raised in a Christian home. From an early age ​she believed in God and knew that Jesus was her ​Savior, but it wasn't until her freshman year of ​college when she learned what being a true ​follower of Jesus looked like. That's when she felt ​the call of God on her life to go into full time ​ministry. Three months later she met TJ. They got ​married shortly after and have been in full time ​ministry together for the last 20 years. There have ​been many highs and lows as they have done life ​and ministry together, but God has confirmed time ​after time His call on her life to serve and reach ​others with the love and good news of Jesus.

Our Vision

Our vision is to launch a new church

in Palm Springs in 2024, followed

by four more campuses throughout

the Coachella Valley before 2033.

With the Holy Spirit involved, ​this is a powerful, catalytic, and ​spiritually explosive experience.

The gospel and discipleship are ​relational topics. Disciples are ​best made in the context of ​relationships. The Holy Spirit ​works through relationships

in a unique way. We are better ​together.

God uses the application of the ​gospel to our lives to change us ​and make us more selfless over ​time. He uses this life-changing ​surrender to also build his ​church and accomplish his ​purposes.

Serve Projects

While some church plants focus on attractional ​events and marketing strategies, Palm Springs ​Church Plant has a different approach for ​reaching the Coachella Valley. In addition to ​sharing the gospel through the relational reach ​zone of our church family, we will engage our ​community through serve projects.

Palm Springs Church Plant will be known for ​making an impact in the community by partnering

with local ministries and organizations, being in ​the schools, and meeting the real needs of the ​people in our community.

When the people of the Coachella Valley know ​that they are loved, God will open the doors for us ​to share the wonderful news of Jesus.

The Hope of the Gospel

We have the opportunity to partner with ​the Lord in what he is doing in the ​Coachella Valley. When his power is ​released, amazing miracles happen, not ​of our power, but only his. We will only ​know in heaven the eternal ripples of the ​impact made through Palm Springs ​Church Plant for his glory alone.
